Historic Retrofit

The aim of this project was to modernize and inhabit two adjacent rowhomes while preserving their historic facades. A challenging sloped site presented opportunities for private outdoor spaces, multi-level accessible entrances, and an addition housing all of the new utilities for the buildings. The client is currently pursuing funding to move into the implementation stage.
