In a former parking structure, Flatiron Flats offers 11 luxury industrial loft apartments in Southside Bethlehem. With a robust concrete, brick, and steel frame, the building posed challenges for modernization and code compliance. 2 new stair towers and elevator shaft were located within the existing building, providing safe egress, accessibility and roof access. Original window openings were infilled with energy efficient windows that are respectful of the historic district in which this building is a contributing structure.
