This compact home will seek PHIUS Certification for the living core and provide ample outdoor and semi-conditioned spaces to enjoy the great outdoors during all seasons.  This is a pilot project for East Spruce’s experimental building practices, which combine the benefits of high-performance building science with the down-to-earth comfort and common sense of traditional cabin design.  Features include a green roof, ICF foundation, T1-11 rainscreen cladding, salvaged roofing panels, ERV, and radiant heated floors.
